ORB Ultimate+ | Mind Over Markets: the opening range, a sweep and the confluence on one chart

How it reads the open. The opening range sets the day’s first high and low. The question is whether the break is real.

The range

The 9:30 to 9:45 ET opening range is drawn the moment it closes, with its high and low (ORH and ORL) carried through the session.

The sweep

A push through the range that runs the stops and comes straight back is marked as a sweep, so a fakeout reads as a fakeout.

The confluence

A breakout is checked against fair value gaps, SMT divergence, rejection blocks and the higher timeframe bias before it is called.

The targets

Session and higher timeframe liquidity are mapped on the chart, so you can see where the move is drawn to before you take it.

Everything it puts on your chart. Built for index futures, intraday.

Automatic opening range

ORH and ORL drawn for you every session, no box to place and no levels to retype.

Fakeouts and sweeps marked

The liquidity sweeps around the range are identified as they happen.

FVG, SMT and rejection blocks

The ICT confluence behind a breakout, layered on the same chart.

Liquidity mapped

Session liquidity and higher timeframe liquidity for entries and targets.

Higher timeframe bias

Read the open in the direction of the bigger picture, or see when it goes against it.

Real-time alerts

Alerts as the range forms and breaks, so you are not staring at every candle from 9:30.

Simulated results. Balances and P&L in these screens come from simulated practice accounts in the Backtester, not real trading. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
