Delete your TP1 account

TP1 by Taking Prophets

You can delete your TP1 account at any time, in the app or on the web. Deleting it removes your account and the data tied to it. It can’t be undone.

Delete it yourself

  1. Sign in to TP1 in the app, or at takingprophets.com/settings.
  2. Open Settings and go to Account.
  3. Choose Delete account, type DELETE, and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. If your membership is still set to renew, cancel it on Whop first. Deleting your account never cancels billing for you.

If you can’t sign in

Email info@takingprophets.com from the email address on your account, or tell us your Discord username. We’ll check the account is yours and delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your account, profile and sign-in.
  • Your Journal: trades, trading accounts, notes, tags, playbooks and chart screenshots.
  • Your Backtester sessions and Indicator Lab builds, chats and drawings.
  • TP1 Memory, your AI settings, and the apps you connected to TP1.
  • Your support tickets and their messages.
  • Our product analytics about you in PostHog, including the pages you visited and your session recordings, and your contact in Resend, our email provider.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Payment records. Records of what you paid are kept for tax and accounting, detached from your account. Whop and Stripe keep their own records under their privacy policies.
  • AI providers. If you used TP1’s AI features, Anthropic and OpenAI keep what was sent to them for up to 30 days under their API policies, then delete it.
  • Things you shared. Indicators you published to the community gallery stay up unless you unpublish them first. Records of battles you played with other members expire within 110 days.
  • Discord. Your Discord account, and anything you posted in our Discord server, are Discord’s and aren’t deleted with your TP1 account.
