Signing in and access

Every TP1 tool signs you in with Discord. Here's what decides what you can open.

TP1 uses your Discord account as your login. The website, the Journal, the Indicator Lab and the Backtester all sign you in the same way, so your saved work follows you from one tool to the next.

What you get with a free account

The free account you set up the first time you sign in gives you the Journal and Stats, with no cap on how many trades you log. The Journal's AI features, the Indicator Lab and the Backtester are part of the membership. See Membership and billing.

If a tool won't let you in

Each message tells you what's missing:

MessageWhat to do
“You need to be in the Taking Prophets Discord to get access.”Join the Taking Prophets Discord server with the same Discord account, then sign in again.
“Your Discord account doesn't have the member role yet.”Your membership role hasn't reached Discord yet. Give it a few minutes after buying, then sign in again.
“This is for members.”You're signed in, but that tool is part of the membership. Use Become a member, or sign in with a different Discord account if you used the wrong one.
“That login link expired” or “Sign-in expired”The sign-in took too long. Start it again.

The dashboard

After you sign in, the dashboard shows a tile for each tool. When a tile can't open its tool, it says why, for example that the tool needs a membership or that your Discord isn't linked.
