DocsIndicator Lab

Changing a build

Revise the logic in chat, tweak inputs from settings, read how it works, and use version history.

There are two ways to change an indicator, and they work differently. The hint under the message box says it: “Logic revision: describe it here → new verified version · Input tweak: use indicator settings → no AI rebuild”.

Logic changes: ask in the Assistant

New rules, a different signal, another session, an extra drawing: describe it in the Assistant, or press Revise on the last result. The Lab rebuilds the indicator, checks it again and saves it as a new version. Every message you send runs a build and counts toward your usage.

Input tweaks: use the settings

Lengths, colors, toggles and any other input the script already has don't need a rebuild. Click the indicator's name above the chart, or the gear next to its name on the chart, to open Indicator settings. Change what you want and press Apply. Cancel drops your edits and Script defaults puts every input back. The chart redraws right away, uses no usage, and your settings are saved with the indicator without adding a version.

How it works

Open How it works from the chart toolbar, or its tab on a phone. For a saved build it lists the rules in plain language, each marked Defined, Implemented, Verified or Unverified, plus review notes on limits and known issues. Under the rules:

  • Add a proven capability searches published Taking Prophets behaviors (FVG, sweep, CISD and so on). Pick one and it's written into your message box, ready to send as a change.
  • Stage a change lets you set input values and describe a structural change. Drafts save as you type, and nothing applies until you press Apply staged change. A structural change goes to the Assistant as a new build.

A build that isn't saved yet shows No saved behavior yet. Older builds are marked Older build and may not have rule details.

Why did it mark that?

Click a marker, box or label on the chart. A “Marked because” popup lists each condition with a tick or a cross and the values on that bar. If no rule matches, it says “No explanation found”. This works on Own code builds only; protected builds don't run in your browser.

Versions, history and restore

Open Saved in the header, or the clock in the Assistant, to see your private library. Versions on an indicator shows its history, newest first, with the current one marked. Press Restore on an older version to bring it back. As the panel says, “Restoring keeps every later version and adds a new current version.” History holds up to 20 versions; after that the oldest drop off.

Rename changes the name. Delete asks “Delete this indicator? All versions will be removed. This cannot be undone.” and Delete forever removes it with every version. The delete button on a Your indicators row does the same after you confirm with Delete?.
