Journaling your replay trades

Send replay trades and daily notes to your Backtest Journal without touching your live stats.

Turning it on

The first time you close a trade, a Keep this trade? card asks whether closed trades should log to your Backtest Journal automatically, with a chart snapshot. Journal my trades turns it on, starting with the trade you just closed. Not now is remembered; the × just closes the card for now. Your answer is kept in this browser, and you can change it any time with Auto-journal closed trades at the top of the Journal panel.

Multiplayer battle trades aren't journaled.

The Journal panel

Open Journal in the right-hand rail. It follows the trading day the replay is on:

  • Daily bias: your read before you trade.
  • Trades: every close. Tap one to tag it with chips under Confluences, Execution and Mistakes, add a note (you can dictate it), and press Save entry.
  • Daily recap: what the day taught you.
  • Did I win the day?: rules followed and lessons learned, not money.
  • Save this day to your journal: sends the bias, recap, verdict and trades to your Backtest Journal.
  • Open the full journal: jumps to the website.

Where AI drafting is available, Draft with AI adds a first recap from the day's trades under what you've written, and Summarize with AI rewrites a trade note into what went right and wrong and pre-selects chips from your own list. Both leave you text to edit. If it isn't available, the app tells you.

Place & Journal

Place & Journal in the Place order window places the order and saves the session to your account in one click. The Journal on save box in the Order panel does the same for orders from the ticket. A save needs at least one closed trade in the session.

Where the trades go

Replay trades land in the Backtest Journal on the website, kept apart from your real trades. They never count toward your live stats. See The Backtest Journal.
