Reading your numbers
What each Overview figure means, how the filters work, and where R and automatic P&L come from.
The filters
Top right of the Overview are two filters: accounts (All accounts, or tick one or more) and dates (Last 7 days through All time, or a custom range). Everything on the Performance tab follows both.
The five figures
Only closed trades with a P&L count. A day is the date you entered.
| Figure | What it is |
|---|---|
| Net P&L | The total of those trades. Under it: how many trades and days. |
| Win rate | Winners divided by all closed trades. Break-evens count in the total, so they pull it down. |
| Profit factor | Dollars won on winners divided by dollars lost on losers. 1.0 breaks even; ∞ means no losers yet. |
| Day win rate | Green days divided by every day with a closed trade. Flat days count in the total. |
| Avg win ÷ avg loss | Your average winner divided by your average loser. 1.50× means the average win is one and a half times the average loss. |
Performance and Calendar
Performance opens with today: the screenshot drop zone and To do, which lists only what needs you (trades with no playbook, a weekly digest that's ready, connecting Tradovate) and says You're all caught up when nothing does. Under the five figures sits a P&L calendar of your newest month (weekdays, plus the weekend in a month you traded one) with each week's total, and beside it your equity by Week or Month: the running total at the close of each, green above $0 and red below. Point at the chart, or focus it and use the arrow keys, to read any week. Under the chart, at a glance gives the calendar month's trades, average day, best day and worst day. Then Recent trades, your last six grouped by trading day: entry and exit with the points moved, the account, the playbook and how many of its rules you kept, R against your planned risk, and the net. A small image or lines icon means the trade has a screenshot or a note, and + Add playbook tags a trade in place. Click a day on the calendar to list that day's trades instead (Show latest instead goes back, Open this day in Trades opens the Trades page on that date); the pick stays in the page's address, so you can share or reload it. Then Insights. When one playbook lost more than the whole range is down, a line says so, with Show me those trades.
Calendar is month by month over all your history. It ignores the date range but follows the account filter. Each day shows its P&L and any mistakes you flagged for that day; click a day for its Notebook page. The Overview's Full calendar link opens it on the month you were looking at. Share this month makes an image to post to Discord or copy.
Patterns and streak
With the daily rule, or against it splits your closed trades by whether they went with or against the day's bias call (see Times and the trading day). A side shows its win rate from 5 trades. A best and worst pattern, meaning a playbook, with or against, and a weekday, shows once one repeats 5 times.
The streak banner counts weekdays in a row with at least one trade logged. Saturday and Sunday never break it.
R-multiples
R is P&L divided by the dollars you risked, so a trade needs a risk to have one. It comes from the stop you enter on Add trade (worked out for the symbols below), from Risk per trade in Settings, or from Risk at stop ($) when you edit. Without one a trade “sits out of your R stats”.
Automatic P&L
For these symbols, P&L is (exit − entry) × dollars per point × contracts, flipped for shorts. NQ1!, /NQ and dated contracts like NQH25 work too. That is the gross: the trade's Fees come off it, from the account's commission per contract or what you type (see Fees and commissions). Type your net over it if it still differs. Anything else needs the P&L typed in.
